Karlheinz Hackl (born 16 May 1949, in Vienna, Austria) is an Austrian actor whose varied career has included theater, television, film and cabaret performances as well as directing.
He is a frequent movie actor who has worked with the likes of Axel Corti and Alan J. Pakula (Sophie's Choice).
Hackl teaches at the Max Reinhardt Seminar school of drama in Vienna. Since 1997 he is married with the Austrian actress Maria Köstlinger. Both have a daughter named Melanie.
